Our Mission
Visual Aids to Support the Understanding of Helpful Behaviours.
About
Kelly creates visual aids using an online storyboard program (Storyboardthat). These aids are intended to support the understanding and remembering of concepts for children and neurodiverse kids. These resources were created after working with children and young people at the Gatehouse Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Posters
Posters focus upon educating children on body boundaries, public and private, consent, self touch, hygiene and healthy online behaviour. The purpose of these posters are to encourage and support communication between parents and their children on "tricky” subjects. The “Our House Rules” poster is intended to be used with families where there are worries regarding problem sexual behaviour (PSB), this visual aid is to support the children’s understanding of helpful behaviour within the home.
Picture Workbooks
Picture Workbook examples are for therapists working with children who have displayed PSB where they have assessed a narrative and externalising approach is a good fit for that kiddo.
Film Projects
Showcases film projects facilitated with youth, neurodiverse young people and vulnerable girls matched with a female mentor.
